The internet tough guy is a person, like you and me, who takes advantage of being protected on the internet since no one can touch him. By advantage I mean he will talk BS and think he's hot crap. This tough guy is usually a 12 year old kid who thinks cursing people out on the internet makes him gangster. The tough guy will target usually a discussion topic, pick a post that deems "stupid" in his eyes and proceed to flame the person. Example :
Poster :"I personally like the wii over the 360. But that's just me"
Internet tough guy : "Your an idiot. The 360 is so much better than the wii. What, you like holding long things in your hand you ***? I bet you spend all night jacking off to Legend of zelda and mario. Go kill yourself and never come back here again."
Poster : "Um...all I did was post MY opinion you idiot. If you can't handle opinions then GTFO of the internet. How pathetic can you be to make an idiotic statement like that? Is that your highlight of the day or something? Cursing random people out and calling them queer because they like something that you don't?"
Internet tough guy : "Oh yeah? I'd like to see you say that to my face punk. I'll mess you up your worthless piece of crap. And its not an opinion that your queer, its a fact. Lol, I can lift 500 pounds on the bench, have a GF, and go to college. And you? You live in your moms basement and look at porn because you can't get any action. Give me your address if you think your all that."
Poster : Wait wait. From your claim you have a GF, in college, and weight lift. Yet you spend your spare time cursing people out on the internet? I find that hard to believe. Plus, your right hand doesn't count as your GF dude. I'll give you my address then. *Posts random address to mess with him*. There you go. Come and get me.
I'll end it right there, as I'm feeling crazy arguing with myself. Basically the internet tough guy will curse you out, and make up a BS story of how successful he is. Plus he has to add the imaginary GF who he wishes he had. Best way to handle this? Point out how pathetic your being cursing out a poster on the internet because he's to afraid to come up to that person to his face. If he did, I'm sure all of his would punch him dead in the face. By that time, the admin should catch on to what's going on and end it. Don't be afraid to tell an admin. This isn't Elementary school. If your being harrassed, report it to someone. Who the heck is going to judge you on the internet?
